What moves me is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more hug , one more smile.

I still don't understand why you had to leave this earth so soon, or why you had to leave long before I was ready to say goodbye.

I try to remember not that you died, but that you lived. I often remind myself that your life gave all of us who loved you memories too beautiful to forget. You were taken far too soon. Love never dies and death can not take away love.

You will live on in my heart forever, Casey.

I found this page from your moms BBC siggy. My very good friend was born five months after Casey (8/23/92) and passed a month after she did as well (4/10/10). I wonder how they're doing up there.
